Client portal software
A client portal that isn't a second product.
Every dedicated "client portal" tool, SuiteDash, Service Provider Pro, Plutio, Bonsai, assumes you'll keep doing the actual work in a different system and copy a status update into the portal. That's how portals stop getting updated. Auctores Helm runs your work and serves it to the client at helm.theauctores.com/your-client from the same row of the database. There's nothing to keep in sync.
What a good agency client portal does
- One URL per client, branded. Your client logs in to
your-domain.com/their-name(or the white- label subdomain on paid tiers), not a generic portal app. - Live status without you typing it. The portal reads the same task list you work in. When you move a task to "Ready for review," the client sees it immediately.
- Files in context. Drag a screenshot onto a task; the client sees it on that task. Attachments are not a separate folder structure to maintain.
- Approval / change-request loop. The client taps Approve or Request Changes on a task, your team gets the notification and the comment thread.
- Invoices + a Pay button. The bill they got also lives in the portal with a working pay link.
- A calendar with planned + completed work."What did your team do this week?" answers itself.
What separates Auctores Helm from dedicated portal tools
The dedicated portal category exists because most PM tools were built for internal teams and the "client view" is an afterthought. Auctores Helm flipped the question, the client view is a first-class part of the product, designed in parallel with the operator view. So:
- No content drift. The portal is the same database as the work system, not a CRM-style copy.
- No portal-specific subscription and no per-portal fee. Every plan includes unlimited client portals, with per-client branding (logo, accent colour, display name).
- Real client-side actions. Approve a task, request changes, upload a file, log time visibility, request scope changes - everything routes back into the operator workflow on the same page.
Multi-tenant from day one
Every client lives in their own slug. No sub-tenancy plumbing, no shared logins, no accidentally showing one client another's data. Tested with automated tenant-isolation suites.
Built for the work, then made client-visible
The portal isn't a separate app you have to remember to update. It's the same row of the same table that the team sees, with a few columns hidden and the visual chrome customised to the client's brand.

Start the trial, add one client, switch to incognito + log in as them. The portal will be there, with their work, their invoice, and your logo.
